This is a fantastic villa located in a quiet but accessible village just 20 mins from nearby Omis. Owners Marijana and Robert could not have been more welcoming and even came out to see us all one night to share a special local dish and their homemade wine.

The Villa is well equipped with wifi throughout and all as per their description and photos, with an exceptionally high standard of facilities and decor and extremely high levels of cleanliness.

The owners also helped to arrange trips and activities and always responded immediately to any enquiries both prior to our holiday and during our stay.
With a mix of old and young guests in our group, there was plenty to keep everyone occupied.
A car is required given the location especially as there are no shops/restaurants close by. However given the stunning views from the Villa we were more than happy to eat in and to make use of the fantastic wood fire/bbq by the pool - though we also found an excellent restaurant in nearby Omis too.

If you're coming to Croatia, look no further- this is THE perfect place. We were so lucky to come here after another place fell through. Words can almost not describe how wonderful our experience was with Marijana and Robert. They are perfect hosts. And their place is spectacularly beautiful; inside and out. First, this house is perfectly appointed. Although there were only three of us, the house could easily fit a couple of families. We were greeted to a huge tray of fruit- pineapple, peaches and strawberries. The fridge was well appointed with water, juice, beer and soda. The beds are VERY comfortable and tons of hot water for showers after exciting days of zip lining or rafting. I have a problem with mosquitos and they provided "machines" to put in the bedroom if we had issues ( I wish we had those at home! They worked like a charm.) The kitchen has everything you'd need for any meal. The view from the kitchen sink window lulls you into a dreamlike state- the views are of a lush, verdant, pastoral, quiet that we don't often get in the US. It is difficult to imagine that doing dishes would transport you so- but it did- many times over!!! The bubbling of the pool, the chirping of the birds, the glorious setting sun, the heady scents of the jasmine and lavender...heavenly! Second, as I mentioned Marijana and Robert are perfect hosts. Villa Mosor can be difficult to find, at first. Robert met us at the nearest turn off and guided us in. They answered all of our questions and arranged for many one of a kind experiences. DO NOT MISS a dinner with Ivanka at her Konoba. We had the most luscious veal and potatoes cooked in traditional "pod pekom" style . (I hope I'm phrasing this correctly!!) Ivanka took care of us like we were her own- stuffing us full of brandy, food and wine. Our experience as a whole was just like being treated as family- Robert and Marijana were there when we checked in, and checked out. My husband took a fall at Klis Fortress and Marijana and the family came by with an enormous bowl of cherries to make sure he was alright. We are hoping that they will come to the US and stay with us, one day... A couple of side notes: you will need a car. We originally picked a place that was closer to Split, but found Villa Mosor to be better situated to "spoke out" to Dubrovnik, Split, Omiš, and Krka. When coming in, stop by a store in Omiš or Split and get your basic provisions. Although Omiš (especially) isn't that far away, it is nice to settle in and not have to go anywhere. The hot tub is quite captivating after a long day of travel and Croatian pastries in the morning- perfection! Our stay was absolutely perfect...you MUST stay here! I only wish we could come here every year.

This Villa is in a lovely peaceful location in the hills outside Omis. The Villa is finished to a very high standard with stunning bathrooms, a modern kitchen and a luxury hot tub. The living areas are comfortably furnished both inside and out. The outside area is spacious with room for sun loungers and al fresco dining. The villa is in such a quiet location the only sound you can hear is the trickling of the infinity pool and the ripe walnuts falling from the trees. Marijana and Robert have been brilliant hosts, nothing has been too much trouble for them, they greeted us when we arrived with welcome drinks, a fridge stocked with local beer and soft drinks and a platter of home grown fruit. Marijana and Robert organised white water rafting on the Cetina River, recommended local restaurants and beaches. They also came round to help us with the wood barbecue, bringing a meat and cheese platter some more of their delicious figs and a carafe of red wine. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough,we have all had a lovely time here and cannot wait to come back.

Villa mosor is a beautiful well equipped villa in a spectacular location. we were 2 families of 5 and there was plenty of room for all of us. the villa was immaculate and furnished to a very high standard. there is a table tennis table in the garage which was used daily.the outside space is great with a large bbq and plenty of space and loungers for everyone and a lovely infinity pool - not big enough for lengths but lovely to relax and cool off in. the reason we chose this location was its vicinity to all the activities nearby around the cetina river. we did the canyoning, rafting, sea kayaking and zipwire. the kids particularly enjoyed the 8 zipwires - the longest being 700m across a canyon - and the canyoning, Omis is only 15 mins away by car and is lovely with plenty of nice restaurants and market stalls. finally our hosts Marijana and Robert and their lovely family were fantastic. a welcome fruit basket - all grown by them was a lovely lunch surprise......and we spent a lovely evening chatting by the BBQ sampling their homemade red wine! all in all the best villa we have stayed in .... and I forgot to even mention the hot tub and daily pickings of fresh figs!!

The owners greeted us with a generous welcome of local artisan products and fruit. The property is nearly new, immaculate and well equipped. There is a bathroom for every room with 3 en-suite. Super quiet air con in each room was just wonderful. The pool was shoulder depth and clean with loads of space around it for relaxing or even outdoor cooking. Try not to hit the beach ball over the infinity edge! Situated in the hills, its a short drive from Omis, on decent roads, and well worth the travel to experience the view and complete tranquility. The only traffic seemed to be the 9:30 bakery van, laden down with pastries. Its worth noting its not so far to the brand new A1 motorway, about 15 mins drive away, so a day excursion south to Makarska area is easy. In future it may even go straight to Dubrovnik. Beware traffic jams in to Omis in peak season. We loved our day out rafting on the river Cetina- highly recommended. Also try heading over the local roads via Kostanje to Brela beach. Allegedly one of Forbes Magazine Top 10 beaches in the world, its fairly developed and busy, but a sophisticated spot to relax, swim and eat. Sometimes hard to find a small beach on the coast so get there early and grab a map from an info point.

One of our best ever holidays in a superb villa. All possible needs met. Lovely bedrooms, all with e/s and air con, a very well appointed kitchen, brilliant infinity pool, bbq - and peace and quiet in the hills but within easy distance of Omis and the coast. Robert and Marijana are superb hosts.

Spent a week in Omis and stayed at Villa Mosor. The villa was amazing and fully equipped. Spent most of our time outside by the pool and took advantage of the gorgeous summer evenings. There was 10 of us that went and we are planning on making it an annual trip as we enjoyed it so much. A big thank you to the owners Robert and Marijana for the hospitality. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our holiday. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting to visit Croatia.
